June 6, 2020: In yet another barbaric incident against wild animals, a leopard has been brutally beaten to death by locals in Katahbari, Guwahati on Sunday.

As per reports, the leopard was causing havoc in the region for a while and was finally caged by forest officials on Saturday night. But the leopard manages to escape on Sunday morning from the captivity of the forest officials which triggered sensation in the region.

Criticizing the Forest Department for their inability to catch the leopard, some of the locals took the matter in their own hands and tracked down the leopard following which they brutally beat him to death.

The brutality did not even stop there as many of the agitated locals even poached its teeth, nails and the like. They later raved and paraded with the leopard's carcass.
