November 30, 2020: The Covid situation in the state has improved, said health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma.

So far, the state has recorded 2,12,617 cases while 981 persons have lost their lives in the disease so far.

In the last few days, the number of cases has come down due to which most of the covid care centres have been closed for now.

"Only Kalapahar, MMCH and GMCH Covid care centres are operating as of now. However, we will do alternative arrangements if the situation deteriorates in the future, informed Dr. Sharma.
