November 20, 2020: Good news for the Bharatiya Janata Party. Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary said that more leaders from the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) will join the BJP in the run up to the polls to the Bodoland Terrirorial Council.

Daimary had announced his resignation from the membership of the Rajya Sabha on Saturday and sent his resignation to the Rajya Sabha chairman.

He also resigned from the primary membership of the BPF.

Daimary said that he has no conflict with the BPF workers and had conflict with the party leadership over certain decisions.

On the huge crowd at Himanta Biswa Sharma's meetings, he said that those were earlier BPF supporters who have now come to the BJP. He expressed confidence that the people would reject BJP in the BTC polls.

Daimary along with another BPF leader Emannuel Mushahry will join the BJP in presence of BJP leadership at a huge rally in Tamulpur on Sunday.
