April 21, 2021: Noted Assamese singer Vitali Das has passed away on Wednesday (April 21) at 7.05 pm at Kalapahar COVID-19 Hospital where she had been undergoing treatment.

Vitali Das had tested positive for COVID19 on April 15 and was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the COVID-19 Hospital after her condition turned critical few days back. She was in ventilator support for after she had developed difficulties in breathing.

Das is survived by her husband and a daughter.
