September 7, 2020: A youth received minor injuries in a late night stab attack at Noonmati Mathgharia on Sunday. The incident happened at No. 2 Mathgharia.

The victim, Jayanta Barman alleged that a group of 6 youths had attacked him while he was on his way to home. The miscreants attacked him with sharp weapons, snatched away his gold chain and his wallet. The miscreants also gave dire threats to his family.

He immediately lodged a complaint with the Noonmati Police. He has named Ganesh Kalita, Bishnu Roy and Mintu Boro as three of the attackers in the FIR.

Based on his complaint, the Noonmati Police has launched an operation to nab the culprits.
