The government on Saturday had issued SOP for reopening of schools from November 2. As per the SOP, the classes from Class Six to senior secondary level will start following the Covid-19 protocols. Classes of Six, Eight, 10 and 12th will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The classes of Seven, Nine and 11 will he held on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The routine will be fixed by the respective head masters. The SOP makes it mandatory to test teaching and non-teaching staff and mid-day meal cooks once a month. The schools will have to be sanitised on every Sunday. Though classes will start, the hostels will remain closed for now. The SOP however clarifies that attending classes is not compulsory for the students.
