July 20, 2020: The number of COVID-19 cases is rampantly on the rise in Guwahati as 577 more tested positive in the city alone on Sunday.
Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, Alert ~ 1018 new #COVID19 ve+ patients reported in Assam today, with 577 cases from Guwahati City alone.
Important to follow containment measures.
