January 12, 2021: The United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) has denied media reports that the two abducted employees of Quippo were released by the outfit.



The outfit C-in-C Paresh Baruah called up DY365 and said that the two are still in their custody and will remain till their demands are fulfilled.



The abducted employees are engineer Pranab Kumar Gogoi and radio operator Ram Kumar.

The ULFA-I abducted the two from the oil exploration company's site in Changlang of Arunachal Pradesh on December 21.
