April 5, 2021: The United Liberation Front of Asom - ULFA (Independent) has released one more abducted employee of New Delhi-headquartered Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure Limited on Monday.



The outfit released Ram Kumar three days after releasing Pranab Kumar Gogoi on Saturday (April 3).



As per reports, the outfit had released Ram Kumar in an unknown place near the border of Myanmar.

Ram Kumar, a radio operator and Pranab Kumar Gogoi, drilling superintendent with the oil company were abducted for more than 3 months on December 21 from the company’s Kumchaikha hydrocarbon drilling site in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.



While Pranab Gogoi hails from Sivasagar district of Assam, Ram Kumar is from Bihar.



It may be mentioned that Ram Kumar is currently under the Assam Rifles’ custody.
