January 18, 2021: Good news for the ginger farmers of the state. The demand for the state's ginger products has increased, thanks to the railways.
The railways has trasported 23 tonnes of ginger from Dibrugarh to Hyderabad on Sunday.
"Providing Farmers Access to Bigger Markets: Railways loaded 23 tonnes Ginger from Dibrugarh, Assam to Hyderabad, Telangana," tweeted railways minister Pitush Goyal.
