March 31, 2021: A man was beaten to death by a mob for sexually harassing a girl on Tuesday night in Tingkhong’s Bangaligaon.

As per reports, the accused namely Muleshwar Majhi - a married man had allegedly tried to harass the girl in the neighbourhood.  Hearing the girl’s cry for help the locals came out and chased him. They later got hold of him and thrashed him to death.

The police have arrested 29 people in relation with the lynching so far.
