December 7, 2021: Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti leader Akhil Gogoi's dream of coming under open sky shattered on Thursday as his bail plea was denied again.

The Gauhati High Court on Thursday morning refused to grant him bail in an NIA case.

The hearing of the case was completed few days back.

Justice Kalyan Rai Surana and Justice Ajit Barthakur rejected Gogoi's petition.

Gogoi's advocate informed that they would move the Supreme Court soon seeking his release.

Gogoi has been in jail for more than a year.
