July 18, 2020: With 1218 new COVID-19 positive cases detected on Friday, the COVID-19 tally in Assam has crossed the 21000 mark. 

Currently in Assam the total number of COVID-19 cases stands at 21864 - out of which 7705 are active and 14105 of them have recovered successfully.

On the other hand, the death toll has risen to 51 in the state. 

Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted,” Alert ~ 1218 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam today, with 570 reported from Guwahati City alone
