State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "Alert ~ 3 persons tested #COVID19 in Kamrup Metro. One person is from Sarusajai Quarantine camp, 1 indoor patient of GMCH, & one has migrated to West Bengal.

Earlier 7 persons tested positive for COVID-19 who returned from Mumbai on May 14 and are now in quarantine.



Till now positive cases for COVID-19 have been reported so far from Golaghat, Nalbari, Morigaon, Goalpara, Dhubri, South Salmara, Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup, Karimganj, Lakhimpur, Cachar, Hailakandi, Bongaigaon, Jorhat districts.
