June 24, 2020: The number of coronavirus cases in Assam rose to 6,056 on Tuesday with 203 fresh cases reported in last 24 hours.

According to the State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, there are 2,282 active cases in the state while 3,762 have recovered so far and 9 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19. 197 patients have been recovered in past 24 hours after they tested negative twice for COVID-19.

 “Alert ~ 203 new #COVID19+ cases detected in Assam today. Total cases 6056, Recovered 3762, Active cases 2282, “Deaths 09,” Minister tweeted.

So far three people have been migrated.
