August 20, 2020: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has crossed 84000 mark with 2116 new cases detected on Wednesday.

The total number of COVID-19 cases now stands at 84317, out of which 60348 have recovered and 23753 are active cases along with 213 deaths.

It may be stated that on Wednesday 2054 patients were discharged after recovering from the virus whereas 10 patients succumbed to the virus.
