October 15, 2020: Troops of Border Security Force under Guwahati Frontier apprehended one Bangladeshi cattle smuggler and rescued 47 cattle from the bordering areas of Coochbehar, Dhubri and South Salmara on Wednesday night

Acting on tip off, troops of BSF BOP Diara of 06Bn BSF under Guwahati Frontier carried out a special operation in Okhrabari under Mankachar police station and apprehended one Bangladeshi cattle smuggler along with cattle heads, while these were being smuggled from India to Bangladesh. Apprehended Bangladeshi cattle smuggler along with cattle heads have been handed over to -Mankachar Police for further legal action.

Troops of BSF also rescued 47 cattle in various other operations from bordering areas of Coochbehar, Dhubri and South Salmara while the same were being smuggled from India to Bangladesh.
