September 16, 2020: The Covid-19 death toll in Assam is fast moving towards the 500-figure as the total crossed 1.36 lakhs on Tuesday.
10 more deaths were reported during the day which took the death toll to 492. Meanwhile, 2,409 Covid cases were detected. The total now stands at 1,46,575. Of the fresh cases, Kamrup M- 633; Dibrugarh- 201; Jorhat- 172 and Lakhimpur- 120.
1849 patients were discharged during the day. Now total discharged patients is 1,16,900 and total active patients is 29,180.
Total 32,770 tests were done on Tuesday with positivity rate of 7.35%.
