September 19, 2020: The tpotal Covid-19 cases in Assam rose to 1,52,858 and death toll reached 540 on Friday.

Altogether 2,509 COVID cases were detected on Friday. On the other hand, 12 persons lost their battles against Covid during the day.

District wise, Kamrup M recorded 541; Lakhimpur- 207; Golaghat- 197 and Jorhat- 162 fresh cases on Friday. The number of tests on the day increased to 36,027 tests with a positivity rate of 6.96%.

Now, the state has 152858 total cases; including 1,23,684 recovered and 28,631 active cases besides 540 deaths.
