September 17, 2020: Assam recorded2394 Covid cases on Wednesday taking the total cases past 1.48 lakhs. The death toll touched 511 as 19 more deaths were reported.

Of the new cases, Kamrup M- 556; Dibrugarh- 184; Jorhat- 161 and Golaghat- 158.

2464 patients discharged taking the total patients to 1,48, 969 including 1,19,364 discharged patients and 29,091 total active patients.

32478 tests were done during the day with a positivity rate of 7.37%.
