May 22, 2020: With two new cases of COVID-19 in Assam, the total number of coronavirus cases reached 214 on Friday.

May 22, 2020: With two new cases of COVID-19 in Assam, the total number of coronavirus cases reached 214 on Friday. 
It may be stated that the two new cases have been reported from Jorhat quarantine centre. Both patients are from Sivasagar. 
"Alert - Two persons from Sivasagar in quarantine at our Jorhat centre are found #COVID19 +" State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a tweet.
The tally is inclusive of 153 patients who are currently active cases while 54 patients have recovered from the disease. 
The number of deaths due to the disease are four and three patients have been migrated.
