May 24, 2020: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam rises to 350 after four new positive cases were reported on Sunday.



Reportedly, out of four cases, two cases from Chirang and another two from Jorhat.



State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "Alert ~ 4 new #COVID19 confirmed. 2 from Chirang, at Tezpur quarantine centre; 2 from Jorhat with travel history to Chennai. Total cases 350, recovered 57, active cases 286, deaths 04, and migrated 03."



57 patients have been discharged while 286 patients are currently active cases.
