Out of the 82 new cases, 22 are from Baksa, 14 from Karbi Anglong, 11 from Chirang, 9 from Dibrugarh, 7 from Dhubri, 5 from Golaghat, 2 from Sivasagar, 2 from Nagaon, 2 from Barpeta, 2 from Kamrup(M), 1 from Biswanath, 1 from Nalbari, 1 from Charaideo, 1 from Tinsukia, 1 from Kokrajhar, and 1 from Dhemaji.




State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 82 #COVID19+. 22 Baksa, 14 K'Anglong, 11 Chirang, 9 D'garh, 7 Dhubri, 5 G'ghat, 2 S'sagar, 2 Nagaon, 2 Barpeta, 2 Kamrup(M), 1 B'nath, 1 N'bari, 1 C'deo, 1 T'sukia, 1 K'jhar, 1 D'aji. Total cases 4777,Recovered 2654, Active cases 2111, Deaths 09”.



12 more patients were discharged late-night on June 17 after they tested negative for COVID-19 twice.
