June 14, 2020: 43 new COVID-19 positive cases confirmed in Assam on Sunday, taking total number of COVID-19 cases to 3943.



Out of 43 new positive cases, 14 are from Nagaon, 10 from Golaghat, 10 from Kamrup, 2 each from Jorhat, Baksa and Chirang, one each from Karbi Anglong, Dhemaji and Bongaigaon.



Informing this state Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 43 new #COVID19+ cases reported.



14 Nagaon, 10 Golaghat, 10 Kamrup, 2 Jorhat, 2 Baksa, 2 Chirang, 1 Karbi Anglong, 1 Dhemaji, 1 Bongaigaon. Total cases 3943, Recovered 1805, Active cases 2127, Deaths 08. 12:35 PM /June 14/ Day's total as of now 43.”



So far eight persons have lost their lives and three have been migrated.
