May 18, 2020: The numbers of COVID-19 cases in Assam have risen to 102 as two more persons tested positive on Monday.

Informing this State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "Alert ~ Two persons one from Jorhat and another one from Nagaon have tested #COVID19 . They are in our quarantine centres.

Earlier on Monday three cases were reported in Guwahati who returned from Mumbai and Bihar.

Till now positive cases for COVID-19 have been reported so far from Golaghat, Nalbari, Morigaon, Goalpara, Dhubri, South Salmara, Kamrup (Metro), Kamrup, Karimganj, Lakhimpur, Cachar, Hailakandi, Nagaon, Bongaigaon, Jorhat and Sonitpur district.
