July 20, 2020: With 1018 coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, Assam has crossed 23000 mark on Sunday.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has reached to 23999 out of which 7916 are active cases whereas 16023 patients have been recovered or discharged so far. Meanwhile, the death toll has rose up to 57.

Taking to Twitter Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed, “Alert ~ 1018 new #COVID19 ve+ patients reported in Assam today, with 577 cases from Guwahati City alone.

Important to follow containment measures.
