May 27, 2020: Sixteen more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Assam on Tuesday, taking the total cases in the state to 682.



Out of sixteen new positive cases, six each are from Hojai and Golaghat, two from Darrang, one each from Kamrup Metro and Kamrup.



"Alert ~ 16 new cases of #COVID19 reported. 6 Hojai, 6 Golaghat, 2 Darrang, 1 Kamrup Metro, 1 Kamrup. Total cases 682, Recovered 62, Active cases 613, Deaths 04, Migrated 03," said state Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter.



So far, four people have lost their lives.
