December 20, 2020: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday released DY 365 Calendar 2021 at a function held at the Hotel Taj Vivanta.



The calendar is dedicated to the COVID 19 warriors in recognition to their role in containing and controlling the pandemic and saving the human lives. In the same programme Chief Minister Sonowal felicitated singer Sudakshina Sharma, journalist Jadu Kakoti, social entrepreneur Manoj Kumar Basumatary, cricketer Ryan Parag and Mother Old Age Home in recognition to their contribution to society in their respective fields.



Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sonowal thanked DY 365 for dedicating its calendar in the honour of COVID warriors. He also thanked the channel for felicitating successful personalities of the state. Sonowal said that though COVID 19 pandemic has had its impact on all sectors of the state, the resilience shown by the people of the state and their cooperation led to controlling the pandemic to a great extent. Though the pandemic is still not over, he requested the people to adhere to safety measures to mitigate impact of the pandemic. He at the same time requested DY 365 to promote safety protocols and relentlessly work to generate awareness among the people so that fatality of the COVID 19 can be controlled.



Industry and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary, Agriculture Minister Atul Bora, Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Hrishikesh Goswami, Legal Advisor Santanu Bharali, Chairman of BTPL Sanjeev Jaiswal and host of other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
