November 13, 2020: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday bought earthen lamps for Diwali. in a bid to promote the pottery industry, he bought earthen lamps on the occasion of Deepavali at Kamakhya Gate area in Guwahati.
The CM purchased 100 nos of lamps for Rs. 250. He said that the local potters should be encouraged and urged upon the public to buy earthen lamps to help them.
