July 29, 2020: Four more patients have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Assam on Wednesday, taking total number of deaths to 92 in the state.

The deceased have been identified as Shri Bimal Paul (78) from Cachar, Smt Hema Devi (77) from Tinsukia and Dr S.A.W. Hussain (85) and Smt Debari Karmakar (40) from Jorhat.

Taking to Twitter Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed, “Very sad to share that four more #COVID patients have lost their battle against pandemic today- Shri Bimal Paul (78) from Cachar, Smt Hema Devi (77) from Tinsukia and Dr S.A.W. Hussain (85) & Smt Debari Karmakar (40) from Jorhat.

May God help their families to bear this pain”.
