August 27, 2020: Atul Bora re-elected as a President of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP), Sadharan Parishad announced on Thursday.

Despite court’s stay order on Wednesday, the AGP held its scheduled general body meeting on Thursday in Ambari, regardless of citing violation of the party’s Constitution and COVID-19 guidelines.

The Kendriya Sadharan Parishad has declared it unanimously as there were no contenders for the position.
