July 20, 2020: At least, 869 Assam police personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 out of whom 484 have recovered, informed Assam Police's ADGP GP Singh on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, GP Singh tweeted, “July 19th 2020 - @assampolice 869 personnel have tested positive till date out of whom 484 have recovered. We’ve unfortunately lost one colleague till date.

@DGPAssamPolice @nhm_assam @CMOfficeAssam”

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam has reached to 23999 out of which 7916 are active cases whereas 16023 patients have been recovered or discharged so far. Meanwhile, the death toll has rose up to 57.
