August 12, 2020: At least 2450 Assam Police personnel tested positive for COVID-19 out of whom 1891 personnel have been recovered informed Assam Police’s ADGP GP Singh on Tuesday.

Taking to Twitter, GP Singh informed “August 11th 2020 -

@assampolice 2450 personnel have tested positive till date. 1891 have recovered. Unfortunately, we’ve lost six colleagues till date.

@DGPAssamPolice @nhm_assam @CMOfficeAssam”

However, six personnel have lost their lives due to infection.
