July 26, 2020: At least, 1178 Assam Police personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 out of whom 893 have recovered, informed Assam Police's ADGP GP Singh on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, GP Singh tweeted, “July 26th 2020 -

@assampolice 1178 personnel have tested positive till date out of whom 893 have recovered. 168 have rejoined duty. We’ve unfortunately lost four colleagues till date.

@DGPAssamPolice @nhm_assam @CMOfficeAssam”.

However, four Assam Police personnel have lost their lives.
