July 22, 2020: Another explosion occurred near the well number five of Oil India at the Baghjan oil field in Tinsukia district on Wednesday, where six foreign specialists were injured.
The injured foreign specialists have been rushed to a hospital out of which four of them are in critical condition.
They have been identitified as Michael Ernest Allcorn, Craig Neil Duncan, Edward Harris MacLeod, Matthew Connors, Anthony Steven Reynold and Doug Dallas.
The explosion took place when operations were underway to douse the fire at Baghjan oil field. The operation has been halted for now.
