State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, 'A 28-year person from Cachar dist, who arrived from Chennai yesterday, has tested #COVID . He is now under treatment at Silchar Medical College & Hospital. Total cases - 97, recovered - 41, active cases - 52, deaths - 2, and migrated - 2'.

Earlier on Saturday night two cases were reported from Guwahati and one each from Sonitpur and Sivasagar.
