July 21, 2020: The number of COVID-19 cases has crossed 25000 mark in Assam with 1093 new cases confirmed on Monday.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state stands at 25092 - out of which are active whereas 17095 of them have recovered successfully. The death toll has risen to 58 in the state.
Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 1093 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam today with 448 cases from Guwahati City.
With 20000 + tests carried out today, our daily positivity rate is only 5%

On Monday, 1072 patients have been discharged after they tested negative for COVID-19.
