July 13, 2020: 735 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Assam on Sunday, out of which 400 cases were from Guwahati alone.

The number of total COVID-19 cases in Assam has risen to 16806. Out the total cases, currently there are 5873 active cases in the state whereas 10894 of them have recovered and three have migrated.

Informing the development, Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 735 new #COVID ve+ cases in Assam, 400 in Guwahati alone.
