November 17, 2020: Six Bangladeshi nationals were deported from Assam on Monday. The nationals were deported through legal procedures from the Sutarkandi international border check post in Karimganj.



These nationals were caught from various parts of the state for illegal entry into the state around 2 years ago. These Bangladeshi nationals were lodged in Goalpara and Kokrajhar detention camps since their arrest.



Earlier this month, 42 more Bangladeshi nationals were deported through Karimganj border. So far, 49 Bangladeshi nationals have been deported this year.
