November 23, 2020: The mortal remains of former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi will be taken to his official residence at Dispur from the Guwahati Medical College Hospital.



After keeping there for the night, his body will be taken to Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra at 11 AM on Tuesday where people will be able to pay their last tribute to their favourite leader.

Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma informed that no decision on his last rites has been taken so far and will be taken as per the wish of the family.



After battling hard for his life for over 2 months, Gogoi, a 3-time chief minister, breathed his last at 5.34 PM on Monday at the GMCH hospital.
