June 8, 2020: 12 more persons tested COVID-19 positive on Monday, taking total number of coronavirus cases to 2693.
Reportedly, out of the 12 new positive cases, 7 are from Nagaon, and 5 from Barpeta.
State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "Alert ~ 12 new #COVID19 cases reported.7 Nagaon, 5 Barpeta. Total cases 2693, recovered 636, active cases 2050,deaths 04".
