July 21, 2020: Sikkim Government has decided to impose complete 7-day-long lockdown from today 6 am.



As per reports, the lockdown will be in force till 27 July to check the transmission of coronavirus in the state.



The decision to impose the lockdown was taken after reviewing guidelines for the management of the COVID-19 situation in the state, a notification issued by Chief Secretary S C Gupta said.



Health Ministry said that Sikkim has a total of 283 COVID-19 cases, including 191 active cases and 92 recoveries. No death cases have been reported in the state.
